Program Support
Raise your organization's visibility and showcase your commitment to the neuroscience field by supporting lectures, awards, workshops, courses, and other events at Neuroscience 2019! Serving as a program supporter increases your exposure to the annual meeting’s international audience of over 30,000 attendees. All Program Supporters are publicly recognized in the annual meeting Program and on convention center and exhibit floor signage. Depending on the supported activity, recognition may also include verbal acknowledgement and a press release.

Lectures
Presidential Special Lecture: $25,000/each
- Selected by the SfN president for outstanding merit and importance in neuroscience, these lecture are the most widely-anticipated and well-attended events at the SfN annual meeting.
- Offers 1.25 continuing medical education units.
History of Neuroscience Lecture: $25,000
- A chronicle of the evolution and growth of major topics in neuroscience.
Special Lecture: $15,000/each (up to 15 available)
- A series of lectures representing neuroscience Themes A - J.
- Offers 1.25 continuing medical education units.
Awards
Trainee Professional Development Awards: Support begins at $3,000. SfN will match contributions of $25,000 or more.

Recipients are awarded based on scientific merit and have the opportunity to attend the SfN annual meeting, present their research at a poster session, and network with peers and established scientists, in addition to participating in educational and learning event.
Ralph W. Gerard Prize in Neuroscience: $50,000
- Highest recognition conferred by SfN to a scientist who made significant contributions in neuroscience during his or her career.
Young Investigator Award: $25,000
- Recognizes a young neuroscientist who demonstrated scholarly independence and distinguished research.
Science Educator Award:
- Honors two outstanding neuroscientists who have made significant contributions to educating the public about neuroscience.
Mika Salpeter Lifetime Achievement Award: $10,000
- Recognizes an individual who promoted the advancement of women in neuroscience.
Educational Neuroscience Courses
Trains scientists in day-long courses focused on emerging topics and research techniques.

Meet-the-Expert Series
Experts describe their research techniques and accomplishments in a personal context.

Social Issues Roundtable: $7,000
- Covers timely social issues of neuroscience topics that have an impact on society, particularly in terms of ethics or social awareness.
