Poster Sessions Abbreviated Timeline
October 1 – November 2
- Virtual Poster: A PDF of 5-10 slides representing the poster. This must include the study’s introduction, experimental design, analytical methods, conclusions, and acknowledgements of funding sources. Learn more about the format here or download a sample PDF.
- Recorded Presentation: 5-minute video presentation explaining the poster’s key points. All presentations within a poster session will be grouped together for easy viewing by attendees. You can record up to four visual inputs as part of this presentation, e.g., your webcam, slides, video, webpages. You will record this video through your personal Cadmium link. If you have not received this information, email program@sfn.org. Please review the instructional video and PDF for more details.
During the Preview Days on November 3-7, registered attendees will be able to view the uploaded PDF and video presentations on-demand and begin leaving questions and comments. Presenters will be notified when someone leaves a question, and they will be notified of responses.
November 8 – 11
- Discussion and Collaboration: An assigned one-hour virtual group discussion with other presenters in the assigned poster session as well as any attendees who wish to participate. Discussion groups will be scheduled to take place November 8-11 within the annual meeting's virtual environment. Participants will be provided with the opportunity to network with colleagues and to answer questions from attendees. A prepared presentation is not required for this group discussion; just come ready to answer questions and network. Poster groups are encouraged to connect prior to the discussion to coordinate how the time will be structured. A dedicated Neuronline Community group is available to connect with others in your group.
