Recording and Live Virtual Presentation Requirements
You will record your presentation and upload materials to the Cadmium Education Harvester by October 25. Your panel discussion will be presented live. A text chat will also appear next to the presentation window during the live presentation.
There are three parts to prepare your presentation; uploading your presentation materials, a technical check, and the live panel discussion. Please review the details of each below.
UPLOAD PRESENTATION MATERIALS
Between September 27 and November 1.

Prepare:
You are required to record a 15 / 20-minute (maximum) video presentation. You will record your presentation in Cadmium. Access this recording task through your Cadmium task list. You can share slides, video, or web pages along with your webcam video during the recording. You are also able to upload additional materials to your presentations.

TECH CHECK (15 minutes)
Between September 27 and November 1.

Prepare
Schedule your tech check through the link in your Cadmium task list. A Zoom invitation will be sent to you directly once this is scheduled. Complete this tech check before your presentation recording. For this check you will need to be in the same location with the same technology you will use for the recording.
Expect
Join the Zoom meeting at your scheduled time. Staff from SfN’s media vendor will test your audio and video quality. They will suggest improvements as needed.

LIVE SESSION (60 minutes)
Between November 8 and 11

Prepare
Log into your Zoom session at the designated time for the pre-call (generally 15 minutes early). You will also open the text chat URL to access the Audience Response System (ARS).
Expect
Cadmium staff will be on the call with you to make sure your webcam/microphone are working and assist with technical issues. At the session start time, your Zoom call will be broadcast to the audience and you will begin your session.
SfN staff will write a welcome message to begin conversations and solicit questions. The session will end promptly at the scheduled time. Please be aware of your presentation time.
