As science grows increasingly open and collaborative, it is critical for investigators to have a robust plan for data collection, management, and sharing to adhere to changing data sharing mandates. In this short course, experts will discuss the ways they organize, manage, and share scientific data both inside and outside the lab. Attendees will learn to incorporate best practices for receiving, storing, and sharing open data as researchers, libraries, organizations, and faculty. The Early Career Policy Ambassador (ECPA) Program poster session will feature poster presentations from past and current ECPAs highlighting their neuroscience advocacy and policy work. The ECPA program is a 10-month program that allows early career scientists to meet with their policymakers and gain the necessary skills to advocate for science and to encourage those in their personal networks to join the conversation.
