Neuroscience 2022 Virtual Component
Join Us Online for the Neuroscience 2022 Virtual Component
Keeping in mind difficulty around travel to San Diego, CA, to attend Neuroscience 2022 in-person, the SfN Council decided to offer a sampling of annual meeting content virtually, including the opportunity for virtual posters. This will allow those who cannot travel for any reason, including health, caretaking, cost, etc., to participate in Neuroscience 2022 in at least a limited fashion. Since the Neuroscience 2022 Virtual Component includes both virtual posters and live broadcasting of some sessions, as well as Q&A opportunities, virtual participants will be able to be a part of Neuroscience 2022 as it happens.

Virtual Poster Details
Virtual posters will consist of a short video and an optional PowerPoint poster presentation. Visitors can leave questions or comments for poster presenters, who will have the opportunity to log in and answer questions/comments at their convenience. All Neuroscience 2022 abstract presenters will have the opportunity to present their poster in-person, virtually, or both. Their presentation choice must be indicated at the time of abstract submission, but any decision to switch from virtual to in-person must be made by September 15, after which your poster cannot be guaranteed to be placed near the other posters in your poster session. The deadline for switching from in-person to virtual-only is November 1, as we know that people may be unable to anticipate reasons for this switch until right before the meeting. There will be a single abstract submission fee regardless of presentation format and no cost for switching.
All poster content must be uploaded by November 4, 2022. For details on uploading virtual poster content, review the virtual poster presentation resources.
Pricing Details
Virtual Component registration fees are 50% of the cost of Neuroscience 2022 in-person registration (either advance or regular registration) in all member and non-member categories.
