Attendee Mailing List

Reach out directly to SfN’s annual meeting attendees by mailing a physical letter or postcard to their postal address.

The Neuroscience 2023 attendee mailing list will be available to current annual meeting exhibitors only beginning August 1, 2023 (also available to non-exhibitors beginning December 1, 2023).

In August 2023, Neuroscience 2023 exhibitors will receive an email containing a promotional code valid for complimentary one-time use of the attendee mailing list, applicable to one (1) mailing to attendees. If you are a current exhibitor and do not receive your complimentary code this August, please contact amsales@sfn.org.

Please note:

• All list rental requests and mail pieces are subject to the approval of the SfN Marketing & Sales department.
• Mailing list contains postal addresses only — SfN does not sell email addresses.
• List does not include individuals who have declined to share their name and mailing address with third parties.
• List is for one-time use only and cannot be duplicated.

The deadline to rent the Neuroscience 2023 attendee mailing list is June 30, 2024.

List Rental Rates

Commercial: $510 per 1,000 addresses
Nonprofit: $350 per 1,000 addresses
Neuroscience 2023 Exhibitor: Complimentary (see details above)

Minimum order: 1,000 addresses

Note: List rental includes a one-time use of the mailing list only. All additional expenses related to mail piece design, printing, and mailing are the responsibility of the party requesting the list.

Materials and Approval

Before you can complete your list rental order in the online portal, you will be required to upload a sample of your mail piece (including copy for any covering material) for approval by SfN’s Marketing & Sales Department.

When designing your mail piece, keep in mind that the Society for Neuroscience’s (SfN) name, acronym, logo, meeting name, and meeting logo are the property of the Society and may not be used on mail pieces, other than as directed below.

Once your mail piece has been approved, you will receive an approval code via email. Submit the code in the box at the bottom of the “Review” page in the online portal to proceed with your list rental order.

List Format

Once materials are approved and payment (or promotional code) is confirmed, the mailing list can be downloaded as an Excel file directly from the online portal. It is the list requester’s responsibility to forward lists on to their mail house.

The mailing list file contains fields for attendee first and last name, full postal address, registration class, neuroscience sub-discipline, topical tracks, employer type, and product category interest. SfN is not permitted to release attendee email addresses. Names and addresses are current as of attendee registration submission. SfN is not responsible for returned mail.

Payment

List requests cannot be processed until full payment has been received (or promotional code validated).

Promotional Code (Neuroscience 2023 exhibitors only): After selecting your company name in the online portal, enter your promotional code in the designated box (located on the “Home” page) before clicking the “Purchase” button.

Credit Card (Visa, MasterCard or American Express): In the online portal, after your mail piece has been approved and you have submitted the code from the approval email in the designated box (located at the bottom of the “Review” page), you will be prompted to enter your credit card information before you can download your mailing list.

Check: To pay by check, contact amsales@sfn.org. Please note that paying by check will delay the processing of your list for up to two weeks, as payment must be received before the list can be released to you. All checks must be in U.S. dollars, drawn on a U.S. bank, and made payable to the Society for Neuroscience. Mail checks to:
