Booth #1Michele Banks (AKA Artologica) is an artist inspired by neuroscience. Her watercolor and ink paintings explore images and concepts from neuroscience, including aspects of learning, memory, and cognition. Her artwork has been featured on the covers of textbooks and journals and in publications including Scientific American, The Scientist, and Wired. Some of her paintings are also available on fine silk scarves and ties. -

Baby Senses : A Sensory Neuroscience Primer for All Ages
Booth #5First of its kind children’s neuroscience and neuroart book written and illustrated by neuroscientist and long-term member of the Society for Neuroscience, Jaya Viswanathan. The book highlights 16 sensory systems including human senses, internal sensory systems, and exotic systems that allow animals to sense electric fields or see polarized light. Samantha Montoya Art
Booth #12Sam Montoya is a Neuroscience PhD Candidate at the University of Minnesota where she researches vision. She received her BA in Neuroscience and Studio Art from Kenyon College in 2019. Combining science and art can spread understanding of current research and awareness of important social issues and their relation to science. Sam's neuroscience-inspired artwork includes hand-carved linoleum printed stationary, bookmarks, and tea towels, as well as paintings, embroidery, and artist books.
