Neuroscience 2023 will be held November 11-15 in Washington, D.C. SfN will also offer a sampling of annual meeting content virtually, including the opportunity for virtual posters. Learn more about the Neuroscience 2023 Virtual Component.

Abstract Presenters |
Individuals presenting an abstract at the meeting must register as a member, nonmember, student member, or student nonmember, and may not register as a guest. Guest registration is limited to members of the non-scientific community. Note: Abstract submission fees do not include registration for the meeting. |

Emeritus Members |
SfN Emeritus members receive complimentary registration for Neuroscience 2023. |
Nonmembers |
Postdoctoral fellows, hospital residents, interns, and laboratory technicians, even if in a training program, do not qualify for a reduced student rate. |
Student Nonmembers |
Students working toward an undergraduate, graduate, or doctoral degree in neuroscience or an allied field qualify for a reduced student rate. |
Guests |
A non-scientific family member or guest of a scientist. Guest registration fee includes a badge, admission to social events, and access to a scientific event for the sole purpose of observing the registered scientist's presentation. The following process and restrictions apply:

High School Students |
High school students may attend the annual meeting in the presence of a chaperone with a maximum of four students per chaperone and must first be approved by the Meeting Operations Department. To request approval, send an email to hsreg@sfn.org expressing your interest. The email application may be submitted by teachers or by parents who would like to allow their high school student(s) to attend the annual meeting. Please include the chaperone’s name, email, and mailing address with application. Once the application has been reviewed, the applicant will be contacted by SfN. Chaperones/teachers who are non-scientific and are attending the meeting solely to accompany their students will be charged the same rates as the students. Registration fees will be collected through the high school student website in one payment. The fees are $25 for one day or $105 for the week. The chaperone/teacher is responsible for collecting the payments for the group. Registration will open on August 1. |
Children Aged 17 and Under |
Individuals aged 17 and under will only be permitted to attend the annual meeting with adult supervision, and badges will not be issued to these individuals. Students registered as part of a high school group are an exception to this rule and should follow the high school registration guidelines above. |
CME |
SfN will no longer offer CME at the annual meeting. |
