Chapters
Further SfN’s mission at the community level.
About Our Chapters
SfN’s 75 active chapters around the United States and the globe further SfN’s mission at the community level by providing opportunities for neuroscientists to network, educate communities about neuroscience, and engage in local advocacy.
Chapters take-on a range of activities throughout the year, including:
- Networking opportunities for students, academics, researchers, and other professionals
- Chapters Workshop at SfN’s annual meeting to exchange best practices and advice
- Public outreach and educational activities, such as Brain Awareness Week and Brain Bees
- Advocacy activities to promote the importance of neuroscience
