Douglas Junge
Dr. Douglas Junge, professor of Oral Biology and Physiology at UCLA, passed away on May 5 after a long illness. Doug was a beloved educator and mentor who researched ion channels, membrane excitability and sensory coding, among other topics. A graduate of Cal Tech, Doug completed graduate work with G.P. Moore at UCLA and postdoctoral training with S. Hagiwara. He will forever be remembered by his many students, colleagues, and friends.
