Call to Action on New Lab Animal Transport Restrictions

Both United Continental and Air Canada have recently announced that they will no longer ship non-human primates used for biomedical research. For United Continental, this decision represents an abrupt about-face from the pro-research stance advocated by a United official in 2011. Now is the time to contact the airline and explain how devastating this could be to medical discoveries and treatments.

Advocates must speak up opposing these policies; contact the CEOs of Air Canada and United by utilizing SfN’s Action Center.
