eNeuro, New Open Access, Online Journal Taking Shape

Early in 2014, The Society for Neuroscience announced its intent to launch a new, open access (OA), online-only journal to serve the field of neuroscience. The journal has been titled eNeuro and will publish scientifically excellent, technically sound articles which move the field of neuroscience forward in a significant way. It will have streamlined peer review and production processes distinct from The Journal of Neuroscience (JN), the Society’s flagship scientific publication. Like JN, the new journal will cover a broad spectrum of areas in the field.
The search for an editor of eNeuro is underway, and further updates are expected in the coming months.
