Increase Brain Awareness Today: 2014 Brain Awareness Video Contest
Apr 15, 2014
Increase brain awareness in a creative way by participating in the 2014 Brain Awareness Video Contest. Anyone can submit a short video about the brain and win up to $1,000 and a trip to Neuroscience 2014 in Washington, DC.
- Expand your outreach: Expand your chapter’s outreach efforts and engage and educate your community in neuroscience. Work with a community member and help them create a short educational video about the brain.
- Show your support: Show why you support federal science funding. Communicate your science today and make a brief, educational video about your research. Help increase public understanding and awareness of neuroscience!
- Encourage future neuroscientists: Visit a classroom, after-school group, or museum in your community. Help inspire passion in neuroscience by working with young audiences to create a video on a neuroscience topic of their choice.
Submissions are due June 12, 2014. Top videos will be featured on SfN.org, BrainFacts.org, and showcased at Neuroscience 2014. Learn more about the contest and check out past winners at BrainFacts.org/BAVC.
