National Volunteer Week: Thank You Volunteers
National Volunteer Week (April 23–29) is an annual celebration of volunteerism and its unparalleled impact on communities across the country. In recognition of this occasion, SfN extends a sincere thank you to its dedicated volunteers around the globe.
Throughout the year, hundreds of SfN members devote their time and energy to programs that:
- Provide professional development opportunities for individuals at all stages of their careers
- Promote public engagement and general education in neuroscience research
- Create venues for scientific exchange
- Inform legislators of new developments in research
Volunteerism is at the heart of SfN’s efforts to advance the understanding of the brain and nervous system. The Society is truly grateful for the continued support of its loyal membership base.
Thank you, once again, to all of those who have volunteered their efforts and contributed to the advancement of neuroscience. If you would like more information on how to get involved with SfN’s programs, visit the Member Center today.
