SfN President Thanks Appropriations Leaders for NIH Funding Increase in FY17 Appropriations Omnibus

SfN President Eric Nestler sent a letter to House and Senate Appropriations leaders, thanking them for providing NIH increased funding in the recently passed FY2017 omnibus appropriations bill.
NIH received a $2 billion dollar increase over FY2016 levels, bringing their total FY2017 budget to $34.1 billion dollars.
