Neuroscience 2022: A Brand New Meeting
The 51st SfN Annual Meeting will be the first of its kind. Neuroscience 2022 brings back the traditional in-person programming while simultaneously offering virtual poster presentations, as well as live broadcasts of lectures and a sampling of symposia and minisymposia – SfN’s first hybrid annual meeting. Be among those who can say “I participated” in Neuroscience 2022, November 12-16.
The return of in-person programming means the return of dynamic, high-energy events that serve as the core annual meeting experience for so many attendees. Explore the thousands of posters in the Poster Hall and discover your next source of inspiration. Stroll through the Exhibit Hall to get your hands on the latest technologies, products, and services. Visit the Graduate School Fair and find the next stop in your professional career.

The scientific program available at Neuroscience 2022 offers something of interest to every niche of neuroscience. Nobel Prize winner Ardem Patapoutian kicks off the first of four Presidential Special Lectures reviewing the work that earned him the Prize he shared with David Julius. Featured Panel Sessions such as the Dual Perspectives, Storytelling session, and Basic-Translational-Clinical Roundtables promise engaging conversations with the audience. Symposia and Minisymposia offer perspectives on fast-moving areas of research presented by senior and junior investigators, respectively. Meet-the-Expert and Meet-the-Clinician-Expert Sessions provide a behind-the-scenes look at the factors influencing the experts’ research and allow for informal Q&A with these innovators in neuroscience.
San Diego offers networking opportunities without a screen in sight. SfN-Sponsored Socials continue the tradition of informal science-focused gatherings. The new Neuroscience Meet-Ups offer communities of neuroscientists the opportunity to come together outside of the formal meeting programming.
