What's New for Neuroscience 2022
The SfN annual meeting is constantly evolving to meet attendee needs, and Neuroscience 2022 is no exception. Continuing an ongoing push to make the meeting more interactive between speakers and attendees, all lectures and featured panels at Neuroscience 2022 will contain a question and answer (Q&A) session. Audience members can submit questions to the session moderator via the annual meeting’s mobile app and upvote their favorite questions.
This year's meeting will see the debut of a new “SfNova” lecture, offering two rising stars in the field the opportunity to present in front of the vast Neuroscience 2022 audience. This year’s meeting will see the debut of a new “SfNova” lecture, offering two rising stars in the field the opportunity to present in front of the vast Neuroscience 2022 audience. Each speaker, representing different specialties, will have 20 minutes to describe their work and then share a 15-minute Q&A session.
Neuroscience 2022 will also introduce Neuroscience Meet-Ups – new networking opportunities for meeting attendees. Neuroscience Meet-Ups are an opportunity to gather with a group of meeting attendees that share a particular interest or community off site. These events are separate from SfN-Sponsored Socials, which focus on scientific topics and are held onsite with support from SfN, and satellite events. Those interested in organizing a Neuroscience Meet-Up will be able to submit their request in September.
