SfN Council Prepares for San Diego
On February 23, the SfN Council met over Zoom to review takeaways from Neuroscience 2021 and meet with the Program Committee Chairs to hear updates on planning efforts for Neuroscience 2022.
Resuming In-Person Annual Meetings
Neuroscience 2022 will be an in-person meeting held in San Diego, CA from November 11–16, 2022. Council and the Program Chairs are fully focused on convening the neuroscience community in San Diego this fall and continue to prioritize efforts for in-person events.
Much uncertainty remains in the global environment and Council wants to make Neuroscience 2022 as accessible as possible while maintaining the value of in-person scientific exchange. In the fall of 2021, Council approved the convening of an Annual Meeting Virtual Programming Working Group to review outcomes from Neuroscience 2021 and make recommendations to Council on the best way to package key components of the annual meeting program into a new programmatic offering where attendees can consume content virtually.
