New! Late Breaking Abstracts for Neuroscience 2024
In order to showcase the most recent and exciting science at Neuroscience 2024, this year SfN is experimenting with holding a second call for abstracts.
Late-breaking abstracts can be submitted for Neuroscience 2024 July 23–August 1. Any SfN member, including those who already submitted an abstract to Neuroscience 2024, can submit a late-breaking abstract. Submissions should report timely, exciting research and will be held to a higher standard of review than regular SfN abstracts.
Late-breaking abstracts are limited to posters. They will be presented in a Late-Breaking Abstracts poster section adjacent to the main poster floor and grouped by theme and subtheme, but not sessioned alongside abstracts on the same topic submitted in the first abstract submission window. Late-breaking abstracts will appear sometime after the initial release of the mobile app and the Neuroscience Meeting Planner, but before the beginning of Neuroscience 2024.
Late-breaking abstract submissions must be completed by August 1, 5 p.m. EDT, and there will be no extension and no editing window. After scientific review, abstract status (accepted or rejected) will be shared in late August, and presentation times will be communicated in early September. Due to the tight timeline, requests for linking groups or specific presentation times will not be considered. Like all abstracts, late-breaking abstracts are subject to the $165 abstract submission fee and can only be submitted by SfN members.
Read the late-breaking abstracts submission rules, contact your co-authors, and get ready to submit your abstract July 23–August 1.
