Bequest
A bequest in your will ensures Society for Neuroscience receives a charitable gift after your lifetime. Consider the following language: "I bequeath to Society for Neuroscience, a charitable corporation established under the laws of the District of Columbia, the sum of [dollars or percentage of estate], to be used for the Society's general purposes."
Beneficiary Designation
Consider naming Society for Neuroscience as a beneficiary of your bank account (POD provision), brokerage account (TOD provision), retirement plan, or life insurance policy. During your lifetime, you will continue to benefit from these assets.
