The Society for Neuroscience (SfN) will present the Jacob P. Waletzky Award to Lorenzo Leggio, MD, PhD, during SfN’s Awards Announcement Week 2020. The award, supported by the Waletzky Award Prize Fund and the Waletzky Family, is given to a young scientist whose independent research has led to significant conceptual and empirical contributions to the understanding of drug addiction.

This will allow SfN to increase multimedia content on BrainFacts.org using enhanced site capabilities, produce compelling neuroscience content driven by narrative and storytelling, and continue to reach new audiences to advance the global understanding of the brain and nervous system.
